Professional Softball League Announces Full 2026 Schedule Ahead of Inaugural Season

KANSAS CITY, Kan. – The Professional Softball League (PSL) has officially released its full 2026 schedule ahead of the league’s inaugural season this summer, marking another major milestone for professional women’s softball.

The league’s inaugural season will feature teams from across the country, including the Kansas City Diamonds, Atlanta Smoke, Florida Vibe, Florida Breeze, New York Rise and Chattanooga Chill as professional softball continues expanding nationwide.

The newly released schedule includes matchups across multiple markets throughout the summer, highlighted by the PSL Championship scheduled for Aug. 5-8 in Birmingham, Alabama.

“Our goal has always been to build something sustainable and impactful for the future of softball,” President of the Kansas City Diamonds Jeremy McDowell said. “This schedule release makes everything feel real. Fans are going to see elite talent, exciting competition and an incredible experience across the league this season.”

The season opens June 12-14 in San Juan with the Kansas City Diamonds facing the Atlanta Smoke as the PSL officially begins its inaugural campaign.

League officials say the release of the schedule represents continued momentum for professional softball and the organizations committed to building sustainable opportunities for women athletes nationwide.
